Tokeland Old-Fashioned 4th of July Parade & Picnic

The Tokeland Parade began in 1976 when neighbors gathered to celebrate Independence Day. A few years later, the tradition grew to include a family picnic and classic field games like the popular sack race and water balloon toss—turning the Saturday closest to the 4th of July into an annual event.
